My Love, My Family

Oops, sorry for the late post. I was too caught up with work yesterday. Been quite busy lately... So, I guess I better go straight to the point then. This has been one my favourite topics to write about. FAMILY. I'll introduce my family then, one by one.

First off, I'll introduce my dad. Mr. Jeffrey 'Abs' Kok, is my muscular, not so tall, kind hearted and easily pissed-off dad. He's not that of the most perfect dad in the world, but, I'm glad that he is my dad. I'm sure everyone is proud of their dad. They are always associated with the first hero in every girls life. Okay, why muscular? cause he couldn't live a day off without going to the gym. During weekdays, after a busy day at work, he will take the time to do push ups and dumb bell exercises. During the weekends, he'll go to the gym for an ultimate workout. You can say that he's very romantic. He tends to show his passionate love towards my mom in all kinds of way. Every time when me and my family went out shopping, both of them will try to show off their romantic side by holding hands and walk proudly. Kissing? (Laughs). They usually do it at home or openly out in the public. I know right-off the edge romantic. My dad has a very bad temper, and that's the side that I sometimes get irritated with. He could just explode like a volcano in a blink of an eye over a small teeny-weeny matter. But, he's great, no, AWESOME! He had stood by my side when I had problems and always supported me through everything. That's why I just love my pops! Even though he's busy as hell, he tries his best to spend time with the family. He just loves us very much and he had made a promise to us that he will be our hero when we're in trouble, so, security has always been the word.

My mom, Miss Joan Goh, a wonderful, strong, tough, gorgeous and kind woman had always been a strong
and dedicated mother. She's a great cook and I just can't simply deny the fact that she cooks really scrumptious food. I guess all mothers tend to have the motherly chef they have in them. I missed to eat her cooking. Oh, my mom doesn't do good in baking in the cooking genre. My mom falls head over heels over and over again when my dad shows off his romantic side. A very sophisticated and sensitive woman. I can see that they had already had a firm relationship from the start. A strong hearted woman is how I describe my mom. I still remember when I had my first break up, she sat beside me, pat on my shoulders and cried along with me the whole day. She's just great and I don't know how she knows when I'm facing a problem or not. Sometimes, I think her instincts come at the right moment. She'll ask like "Is there something wrong, Nickki?" I used to share all my secrets with her. She's really good at keeping them and we usually got use to open up to things that we want to talk about each and every day. My dad would always compliment my mother's smile. She has the sweetest smile and I think, maybe, just maybe, that's how my dad knew that she is the one for him. But, through it all, my mom is just wonderfully perfect for me. 

Last but not least, my little sister. Well, not exactly little, but, ermm...bigger but younger. Her name's Cassandra Jane and she's in her sweet 16 this year. She's bigger physique than me and you can say that she's geeky and a little bit shy around people. She's more towards the egocentric type of person. Cassy here is not that social of a person, but, once you've clicked, you'll be amaze at what vast knowledge she has and the way she sees things are a little more 'unique'. She's really good at drawing and she draws better than me. Lazy most of the times and ya, I think you know why, I'm the eldest, she's the youngest, well, just do the math. Okay? She likes to throw tantrums when she couldn't get what she wants. She would pout all day and waiting for the day to end just like that. Hates it when it comes to taking pictures.

Well, very very annoying at times, especially when I'm watching the tv or reading a novel. She'll just blabber about anything the whole and using the terms that I couldn't quite work out. Even though I feel irritated with her at times, but, because of the fact of me being the eldest, I had to take good care of her. But, I'm glad that she's my sister. Cause she was the very first best friend that I had ever had from the day that she was born to me a sister. To tell you truth, it is quite a headache to be the eldest in the family, but, whether I like it or not, they are my family and I cherish them from the very bottom of my heart. 

Through the ups and downs, I find myself thankful to God for all the miracles and priceless gifts that He has given me. And I am glad that I am still alive till this very day. To see my family happy and proud of what I have achieved till now and I know they are still waiting for more surprises to come in the future. I just love them so much!  Family has always been the best one that I'll ever get as a gift for each birthday or Christmases to come. Although they are not the richest, perfect family, I just feel that it's just a bliss! Dad, mom and sis, I LOVE YOU!
