Oishi Desu-ne~

Today's challenge: Favourite foods! It's been great knowing that people all over the world loved their food. You can see food enthusiast everywhere nowadays as food has become a part of our daily lives and also one of people's most common hobbies, I think. So, let's get down to business shall we?

1. This food has been my favourite since my mom first taught me how to make it. It originally comes from Japan and it is their traditional food ever since centuries ago. It is made simply with rice rolled into small rolls with their main course taste rolled inside of em'. There all still other types where it does not involve rolling. That's right. Sushi has been my fav. and I just love Japanese cuisine as it is a healthy recipe meal. ( I have to take care of those weights too you know).

Cha Soba
( Green Tea buckwheat noodles served with hot soup and raw quail egg)
Tempura
Chawan Mushi
( Savoury egg custard with shitake and prawn)
2. One of the busiest fast food chain in the world. It happens to be one of my favourite as I stumble upon this Happy Meal when I was still 5. I'll have it whenever I get back home or just when I really, really want to have it. I love their double cheese burger and also their famous french fries. Yup, I guess you liked them too, huh? Welcome to McDonald's.

3. Then, of course, eating asian food has also been one of my hobbies nowadays as I go on an adventure looking for food that I haven't tasted yet. Especially here in Sabah, I tend to find most of the food here appetizing and also during this fasting season, bazaar stalls may tempt my cravings to the very edge. It always has been my favourite to sample foods, especially the traditional ones. Love me country, love asia food!

From the left: Bambangan, Tuhau
Down: Hinava, Snake Skin fruit( Right)

4. I have chinese blood running in my veins. So, don't be surprise if I have the cravings to eat, you know- THE MAGIC MEAT. In every typical chinese cuisine, you will find that in almost every dish. It has been a great tradition that each time a person prepares a meal, he or she must include vegetables, chicken, 'magic meat', rice and soup. They are essentials in the everyday life of a chinese family. Let me introduce to you guys some of my favourites. Don't worry guys, I won't show you explicit images. These are some of my favourites:

Sang Nyuk Mien
Chinese deep fried dumplings (Jiao Zi)
with Garlic soy sauce
These are called Dim Sum
Mainly eaten in Hong Kong as breakfast

Zhu Chang Fen ( Rice flour rolls with spicy sauce and sesame seeds)

5. Okay, we've come to the final favourite food of the day. These types of dishes are always a great way to end your meal after all courses. Normally sweet and savoury, these dishes gives us a little pleasure after having a heavy course meal. Desserts. That's what I'm talking about. I love desserts and just simply because I'm a girl who loves her sweets. Here are some of my favs.
Green Tea ice cream

Green Tea Mochi ( Rice Flour sweets)

Gulab Jamun
(  I've eaten it once and instantly fell in love with it)

Onde-onde

So, basically, that's almost all of it. There are more of it but I rather let them surprise me. Alright, here's my advice- when you saw something delicious, don't hesitate to eat it, you'll regret it someday if you do. Oh, and sorry about these pictures. Took them all from Google image. hehe. Have a scrumptious day!
