Girls Talk: Beauty Chemistry

Peplums, bohemians, one piece, crochets are mostly eye catching when it comes to girls. We just can't resist buying something girly when we enter a make-up shop or a boutique. Yup, I want to focus more on the fashion part. I guess it's just normal for a girl to be interested in these stuff, especially the part when a prom night pops up or an event going on in their lives. So, eventually, it turns up that I too, get caught up in these girly talks.

I love to wear a random blouse, shirt or singlet with short jeans when I go out shopping or a day out with friends. I would definitely want to try wearing long skirts or dresses as a usual get up some day. I'm still trying to adapt myself with the fashion world as you can see, I'm not as fashionable as all the other girlfriends I have out there, but soon going to be I guess. Doing certain improvisations on my look. I always look through my favourite magazine where it features the latest Japanese fashion trends which I would love to put on myself. Here's an example of my magazines and the outfits that I really want to look good in-

So, if anyone dares to interrupt your sense of style, tell yourself that fashion defines who you are and makes you the person your'e comfortable with. :)

Inspire Chapter

Inspiration comes in all shapes and sizes. It may be a bird flying high in the sky, or a cat licking its kitten, or even bees and the flowers in a garden. These surroundings can give multiple people multiple ways of upbringing their emotions or how they feel at that time into these significant features. People love to see wonderful things happen each and getting inspiration by the things around them.

How do I get inspired? Well, I get inspired through anything, especially my surroundings. It may be a general answer, but I bet you do too right? Through the people around me, through nature or even through books and quotes that made a wide-eye-opening effect.

The people around me-especially family and friends. I get inspired when a few of my friends started to blog, especially to my bloggie buddies that I have in my Teslian batch. I want to thank them cause they inspire me to create this blog and yes, now you can see me posting stuff here. Without my family, I wouldn't have been here sitting in my dorm room, studying under Teacher Training Tesl Degree program. I really need those wise words to get me through my hard times here studying. See, inspiration does happen in every single way. For cats and butterflies, I think nature inspired me the most. Without 'them' as inspirations, I wouldn't have a single idea on how to draw a landscape painting. I really love art and seeing how people can create or produce fine artworks has given me hope and made me open up to expressing oneself through artistic impressions.

You can say that even a butterfly or an upside-down beetle may inspire me. Butterflies may be small, but they could flutter over meadows and fly far-far away like there's no limit to tomorrow. For the beetle may be a bit struggling to get its body upright again, but after all the hard work, it can manage to flip over and turn its body back to normal. It teaches me to not giving up and fight till the very end until you succeeded.

So, live up towards finding a great inspiration to get your inspiration going. Remember, every single day you could find something that may caress your heart's delight. So...

Overcoming FEAR~

FEAR has been a word that's been with me throughout my whole life. I had all types of fears buckled up deep inside and I always remind myself to stay put and not move or change a single thing in me. Most of my fears comes from scared of talking to people. I also have this fear of losing myself and also losing my friends...

I still am not sure how I am to overcome this fear welling up deep inside, but, I guess there's always a way to make someone realize their own and make a stance to change the part of having fear to having confidence. It's quite hard though... But, I guess being able to use my smile technique towards people have made me a better person today. I guess being positive is one way. If we always think negatively, our lives won't change for the better, right?

A little bit of sharing here... I'm not those kind of people who are great at socializing. I like to keep quiet but if and only if a person starts opening up a conversation with me, then I'll try my best to say something that doesn't sound awkward. I fear of people judging me and saying that I'm a bore. I'm scared that because I'm not beautiful like the other girls out there, people won't like to talk to me. But, after having friends that I trust, it changes me from deep within and with God's help and guidance, I get to meet more great people who are actually, praising me at times. I was glad and happy that I had overcome this fear myself and some help from others. It was great to overcome it and now I can confidently open up a conversation with anyone that I don't know of.

Amazing right how positiveness gets you through? So, people who are holding up fears in their hearts, try to find courage and be positive about yourself and always think of the good outcome it brings. Not only to yourself, but also towards your surroundings. Adieu!

A place I withheld deep inside

People always say, there's no place like home. I do agree with that fact though. We always go back to a certain place gradually after a long day and we always find peace when were siting in the living room or just simply enjoying the night breeze outside the house. I love my home. It is situated at a small district in my hometown- Kota Kinabalu. It may be a big city, but, my home is a little further and it escapes from the noises and the hustle and bustle of a busy city. I admit I do envy people who live in small towns or countryside. They find a lot of peace and tranquility that one couldn't hope for in the city. But, I'm grateful for the being able to live in a small terrace house with my family. I love to lie down on my comfy bed in my room and just savour the moment at home. It is not as big as those affordable houses out there, but it is just right for me. It is a place we share our laughter, our joy, sorrows and love together and wherever we go, we'll always miss going back. Just name it, just let your heart take you to wherever it leads you to and that place can also be called home.

-Home sweet home-

Oishi Desu-ne~

Today's challenge: Favourite foods! It's been great knowing that people all over the world loved their food. You can see food enthusiast everywhere nowadays as food has become a part of our daily lives and also one of people's most common hobbies, I think. So, let's get down to business shall we?

1. This food has been my favourite since my mom first taught me how to make it. It originally comes from Japan and it is their traditional food ever since centuries ago. It is made simply with rice rolled into small rolls with their main course taste rolled inside of em'. There all still other types where it does not involve rolling. That's right. Sushi has been my fav. and I just love Japanese cuisine as it is a healthy recipe meal. ( I have to take care of those weights too you know).

Cha Soba
( Green Tea buckwheat noodles served with hot soup and raw quail egg)
Tempura
Chawan Mushi
( Savoury egg custard with shitake and prawn)
2. One of the busiest fast food chain in the world. It happens to be one of my favourite as I stumble upon this Happy Meal when I was still 5. I'll have it whenever I get back home or just when I really, really want to have it. I love their double cheese burger and also their famous french fries. Yup, I guess you liked them too, huh? Welcome to McDonald's.

3. Then, of course, eating asian food has also been one of my hobbies nowadays as I go on an adventure looking for food that I haven't tasted yet. Especially here in Sabah, I tend to find most of the food here appetizing and also during this fasting season, bazaar stalls may tempt my cravings to the very edge. It always has been my favourite to sample foods, especially the traditional ones. Love me country, love asia food!

From the left: Bambangan, Tuhau
Down: Hinava, Snake Skin fruit( Right)

4. I have chinese blood running in my veins. So, don't be surprise if I have the cravings to eat, you know- THE MAGIC MEAT. In every typical chinese cuisine, you will find that in almost every dish. It has been a great tradition that each time a person prepares a meal, he or she must include vegetables, chicken, 'magic meat', rice and soup. They are essentials in the everyday life of a chinese family. Let me introduce to you guys some of my favourites. Don't worry guys, I won't show you explicit images. These are some of my favourites:

Sang Nyuk Mien
Chinese deep fried dumplings (Jiao Zi)
with Garlic soy sauce
These are called Dim Sum
Mainly eaten in Hong Kong as breakfast

Zhu Chang Fen ( Rice flour rolls with spicy sauce and sesame seeds)

5. Okay, we've come to the final favourite food of the day. These types of dishes are always a great way to end your meal after all courses. Normally sweet and savoury, these dishes gives us a little pleasure after having a heavy course meal. Desserts. That's what I'm talking about. I love desserts and just simply because I'm a girl who loves her sweets. Here are some of my favs.
Green Tea ice cream

Green Tea Mochi ( Rice Flour sweets)

Gulab Jamun
(  I've eaten it once and instantly fell in love with it)

Onde-onde

So, basically, that's almost all of it. There are more of it but I rather let them surprise me. Alright, here's my advice- when you saw something delicious, don't hesitate to eat it, you'll regret it someday if you do. Oh, and sorry about these pictures. Took them all from Google image. hehe. Have a scrumptious day!

Err... I don't think I have one yet since I've just started my way through blogging. So, I'm very sorry for this short post. But, I do think that a few of my friends had nice blogs themselves which I like to browse through when I have the time to do so. I haven't really explored all the other interesting blogs out there. If I do find one, I'll post it right here. It's a promise. Hoho~
